On 10th of December 2009, WOW Hub has organised an exhibition showcasing the work of passionate Yorkshire photographer Jim Souper. In relaxing atmosphere with refreshments and mince pies, people had a chance to view Jim`s work as well as talk about his journey from having a dream to actually fulfilling his destiny as a photographer. Bradford College in association with the Bradford Kickstart programme has launching the Bradford Enterprise Roadshow. Business enterprise and entrepreneurship is being actively encouraged in the Bradford area and its surrounding communities. This roadshow is a series of free events which aim to generate interest and awareness and inspire excitement about enterprise.
The first event was dedicated to Art & Media and supported by WOW Hub project. The event was held on 9th October 2009 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm at the college’s Yorkshire Craft Centre and Henry Mitchell Hall. Anyone could have attended and the day was packed with presentations, entertainment, business exhibits, seminars and workshops.
Animation Yorkshire - Bradford City Of Film
WOW Hub and Animated Yorkshire organised a special screening of Sounds Like Bradford, a new commission from Fabric and Bradford City of Film. The event was held at the Innovative Technologies Centre on Wednesday 24th June 2009.
